So, finally you have decided to go on for loosing few extra pounds from your body, and, you are in a hurry to do so. What will you do? You will try to adopt a crash dieting, work out excess fat on a daily basis, and just started to look slim and trim. But are you aware of the eventuality? Weightloss may bring Anorexia!

Anorexia is the disorder caused by self-starvation. Young girls and ladies are in a constant effort to keep their shape slim and trim. They tend to adopt to a food habit that is quite unnatural. Their diet chart is totally fat free, even it contains a minimum of carbohydrate and protiens. A lot of them start to eat only salads, fruits and custards. Some follows even more intense dieting by adopting to only water or liquid/juice diet. It has been reported that a large number of modern ladies do not take any food in the next day after having a party in the previous night.

Does such crash dieting has any effect?

Crash dieting has some effect. As you are eating nothing but only salads, fruits and fruit juices, and that too in a very measured amount, so, you are almost in a state of self-starvation, something like fasting for months. During the early phase, your body consumes glycogen ( stored carbohydrate ) to get required energy. Mind you, your fat is not going to be consumed by starvation alone. It is the glycogen stock that gets exhausted at first. Then body starts to loose water. Naturally you will look thin and weak as well.

Are there any evil effect?

Such shocking diet may improve your shape temporarily but it introduces a disorder called anorexia. Food is the fuel of our body. Since you are not supplying fuel, do not expect your body to act exactly the same way as it would do earlier. It will slow down gradually and this has long term side effects.See how it happens:

Low blood pressure => slow heart beat => heart failure!

Constipation => blooting.

Periods stop, growth problems, pregnant woman run the risk of miscarriage.

Weak muscles => swollen joints => bone loss => fractures => osteoporosis.!

Your overall body immune system will be destroyed making you susceptable to any diseases which may sometime claim your life.

So final word?

Work out daily, do not start shocking diet. Try to become slim and healthy and not wick and sick.
